A Toy Duck Is Floating On The Water
Olivia Bennett A Toy Duck Is Floating On The Water
(Physics) A toy floats on water. ? 3
The average density d is d = 740 kg / m3, while the density of water is = 1.0 x 103 kg / m3. Volume d Vd = 0.00011 m3.
(a) Express the weight d, W as the function of d and Vd.
(b) Find the numeric value of W in Newtons.
(c) Describe the intensity of bovine force F d and the volume of water Vw displaced by d.
(d) Express the volume d in water as a function of Vw, d and Vd.
(e) Calculate the numerical value of volume d in water, Vw in m3.
Not sure where to go with this issue so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
¡µ¤ = 740 kg / m³
Vᵤ = volume d = 0.00011 m³
m = volume x density = Vaµ¤ x ¡µ¤ = 0.00011 x 740 = 0.0814 kg
W = weight = mg = Vaµ¤à ¡Â¤g = 0.0814 x 9.81 ~ = 0.799 N
iii) Up Float F = Homeless Fluid Weight = Goµ ¡µ ¡ÂµÂ ¡µg
iv) Because d is floating (vertical balance) it forces upwards F = weight ds = W = Váµ¤à ¡µ¤g
=> Go g = Go
=> Go
v) Go = Go
= 0.0814 / 1000 = 8.14 x 10 (5) m³
