Exclusion Pixel

An opt-out pixel is a way to prevent ads from showing in a specific location or to a specific user. This is a 1×1 pixel assigned a variable that the ad server can see, but not serve ads.

For example, an ad tag on a membership verification page might contain an opt-out pixel. This is then used to prevent member ads from showing on that page.

An opt-out pixel may also be associated with a cookie so that users who come to this page are also not shown opt-out advertisements.
