If you want to work for a small company with only one director in each field of surgery, you can become an obstetrician and neonatal surgeon. My question is: Are you going to do a residency to become a pediatrician? And I also think you should have scholarships for both, but can you complete the scholarship as a neonatal surgeon and then as an obstetrician?
Unfortunately, you can't really do what you say. Neonatal surgery is performed by pediatric surgeons. Pediatric surgeons are trained for at least 5 years in surgeon training, followed by 3 more years in pediatric surgery. Pediatric surgery scholarships are highly competitive, and while only top individuals can receive surgical training, usually only the first place in the higher education surgical education program qualifies for a pediatric surgery scholarship. Maternity specialists are trained in many different ways. OB / GYN is their specialty. Interested medical students have experience studying medicine and, if interested, specialize in maternity / gynecology training. OB / ■■■ has its own sub-characteristics, such as general surgery, but its scope is related to health system and reduction of gynecological diseases. OB / GYNs do not operate on children or women due to problems unrelated to ovarian or pelvic anatomy. If a pregnant woman needs emergency surgery for reasons other than pregnancy (such as appendicitis, obstruction, chlamydia, etc.), the operation will not be performed by an obstetrician / gynecologist, but by a general surgeon.
Pediatricians do not perform surgery. Pediatrics is a field of medicine that deals with the health care, prevention and prevention of diseases in children. As far as I know, obstetrics / gynecology and surgery are two different specialties. Neonatal surgery will be an option only after surgery. The pads are self-contained, but you can add more bags later. If you don't want to spend too much time at school covering all three residences, choose only one.
